Today PayPal has shared its Black Friday details. and PayPal has indicated that this year, transactions were increase up 27 percent when compared to numbers from BlackFriday in year 2009.

PayPal also Shows that a lot of the payments were thanks to mobile devices. Mobile shopping saw a 310% growth this year to compared to last years numbers.

According to PayPal it’s “The official shopping season”,  started on November 15th. and paypal is spending amounts on BlackFriday were up 19 percent when compared to a normal Friday this year.

To put the size of PayPal in to perspective here, we see that they have a 16.5% market share of all US online payments and 15% of global transactions.
