Bangalore: Bharti Airtel, one of India’s premier telecom companies, is said to spend around $67.20 million for a global brand makeover.
The overhauled look of Airtel is expected to be lifted of the veils next week.

Sources claim the job of re-branding Airtel
has been done by the JWT ad agency.

Among the changes going to take place, courtesy the makeover, the font style of Airtel may change with a
swoosh locked with the word Airtel.

Although the color red will be retained, the capital A in Airtel will be done away with.

Is Telecom Minister A Raja’s resignation a sign of upcoming justice on 2G scam?

The new brand would likely be launched across markets of India, Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Seychelles.
With Airtel spreading its wings across geographies, the re-branding is done to give the image of a more youthful, vibrant and global company.
