Reliance Broadcast Network is  launching the country’s first Internet radio.This service is called Big Net Radio.

Reliance internet radio is based on a research-study that revealed India has almost about 50 million users who utilize the internet and they are of age range 18-30 and they are using it as entertainment on internet.

online advertising revenue through the radio will surely profit the company as well as  advertisers.

The BIG Net Radio has combined Bollywood, spirituality and humor all in one and will be available free for users. The launch of The BIG Net Radio seems to be a prologue to its announcement of 3g services around India.

The company hopes that people will use smartphones with high-end mobile applications to access Internet thereby increase its usage especially with the introduction of 3G.
