Discovery Networks has incluided the five TV channels (Discovery Channels), TLC, Animal Planet, Discovery Turbo and Discovery Science will now available on the mobile TV platform.This sevice will come soon to hit he smartphones.now users can see all these discovery chanels on mobile.
A Partnership with Apalya Technologies,Discovery Networks will now be able to broadcast its bouquet of channels on the mobile platform for Indian users. The mobile TV service will be made available across all leading networks such as Idea, Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, BSNL, MTNL, Reliance, Tata Docomo and Tata Indicom, will have to be paid for. Users will have a choice of three packages: daily, weekly, and monthly, with prices It will be Rs.7 per day to Rs.150 per month.
Accordind to the Rahul Johri, senior vice president and general manager of the Indian arm of Discovery Networks in Asia-Pacific, said “Discovery has a wide distribution network in India, and this recent tie-up to broadcast our channels on mobile TV is just a step forward in the direction of leveraging new technology to create additional touch points with our current and prospective viewers.”
